October FUN!!

This Halloween we decided to dress up as a family.  Christian came up with the idea for the costumes and I loved it. Kaden was not interested in putting any other costume on so it worked out perfect. Maddox of course was down for anything as long as he was being held. Life has been stressful with that little man he has become much more needy and never wants to be put down. This year we have done two trunk or treats at our church and still have trick or treating to do. We have lots and lots of candy that will probably never get eaten. Even though our house is filled with too much candy I have to say this festive holiday is much more fun with kids. Kaden now can speak full sentences and tells us everything about the costumes he sees and what is scaring him. He loved the idea of going to trunks and having people giving him candy that I don't think he will have a problem going to doors to ask for candy. This year we also started the tradition of carving pumpkins with Kaden. When we bought the pumpkins we was so excited to take them home. Christian showed him what was inside when we carved them and he wanted nothing to do with it. He said it was YUCKY! Once it was all carved and we put a candle in it he LOVED it again. That very night he even prayed for his pumpkins. Ohhhhh the ups and downs of a two year old. This month we also took the boys to the pumpkin patch and took some pictures. We got to there pretty late so the pictures came out a little dark but they look so cute it makes up for it. Kaden has become such a pro at taking pictures and was telling Maddox say "cheese"!!!! I love that he tries to teach his little brother new things every day. Lastly I turned the big 25 this month. We celebrated with dinner out with the boys and movie after they went to bed. Life has come at me so fast the last couple years and I love that it has. Christian and I have been married and brought to precious babies into our lives in a matter of two and a half years. I couldn't see my life any other way. I can say I am shocked to think I am  ONLY 25. I remember growing up thinking I would probably start having kids about this age and I laugh to think about that. I always knew my calling in life was to be a mom, caregiver, wife. Life could not be any better then having holidays and birthday to share with my children and husband.
